Return on investment
Indicative only, not a quote. Uses typical 2026 installed prices of about R9 500 per kW of solar and R4 000 per kWh of lithium battery, including installation and CoC. Assumes about R250 a month of fixed municipal charges that solar does not remove, that 80% of the solar you could use lines up with when you use power, 0.5% yearly panel ageing, and inverter and battery replacement in year 12 at 60% of today's price. Excess solar exported to the grid is not counted.

Cassol Solar Specialists (Pty) Ltd is run from Pretoria by directors Wiaan and Clarisa Malan. We carry the Cassol name, in solar since 2010, and design, install and maintain systems for clients across South Africa.
